Announcing the 8th Annual
City Park Festival of the Arts
to be held on Sunday July 20th, 2008
from 12pm to 6pm at Ferril Lake at City Park

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Join us this year for our return home to Ferril Lake at City Park.
Our collaboration with City Park Jazz will make this the
best attended event since 2005 and perhaps ever.

We are beginning our CALL FOR ENTRIES April 15th. Our booth fees remain $60 for return artists, $75 for first year artists, $10 for nonprofit, community service or youth education programs, and $100 for North East Denver businesses.

We are also accepting applications for entertainment. We are especially looking for colorful, unusual or cultural acts, buskers, dancers, comedians, acrobatic, martial arts, walk-around and Children's Entertainment. Our stage time and budget is limited, but if you live in our catchments area and have an act that would be a good Festival addition, please contact us.

Demonstrations. If you are a chalk or Plein Air artist and would like to come produce at the event, we would love to have you. We believe that by demonstrating the "artistic process" we can foster education, arouse interest and increase sales.

We remain a community directed and neighborhood-organized event. We continue to focus on building neighborhood participation, increasing the cooperation and respect that brings neighborhoods together, developing leadership, supporting the Arts, positively impacting local businesses, and developing and sustaining our North East Denver Community’s sense of identity and pride.
